Dr. Knecht specializes in all aspects of medical and surgical care of the foot and ankle. He is on staff at UTMB Galveston, Mainland Medical Center, Memorial Southeast Hospital and the Bay Area Surgical Center.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics, as well as being a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Knecht has 37 years of experience practicing in the Houston/Galveston area. He is active in the training of podiatric residents, lecturing, and writing numerous scientific articles on foot surgical techniques.

Our office is a participating provider in Medicare, Medicaid, Aetna, TUHP, Blue Cross, and most of the common insurance programs in the area.
